Cayman Islands authorities are investigating the death of a 37-year-old cruise ship passenger but say foul play is likely not involved.

A police statement says the unidentified man was found inside a cabin on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. The ship docked Thursday in George Town harbor.

Police said Friday they are investigating. The statement did not give more details.

Royal Caribbean did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
