Officials says delays are to be expected at Copenhagen's international airport due to a walkout to protest outsourcing of staff canteens.

The airport says in a statement the work stoppage affects "a number of functions necessary to maintain normal operations."

The 3F union says luggage handlers, security personnel and cleaning staff, among others, walked out in solidarity with canteen staff.

The latter walked out Monday to protest a planned outsourcing of their canteens.

No cancellation of flights were announced.
