Shortly before sunrise, the small crowd at the summit of Haleakalā - a volcano that formed most of the island of Maui, Hawaii - gets a chuckle from a car's loud roar speeding up the mountain as to not miss one minute of sunrise.

While in Egypt (near Marsa Alam) we were offered to do a sunrise camel tour so we got up at 5am to do so. Sadly, the trip itself turned out to be a quite uninteresting walk near the (dirty) beach but the sunrise was indeed one to get up for!
