Travel by: April 3

The deal: Forgo those traditional Easter celebrations and enjoy a basketful of savings with Norwegian Cruise Line's seven-night Easter sailing to the idyllic Caribbean for only $449 — that's just $64 a night for this holiday cruise! The Norwegian Pearl embarks from sunny Miami on April 3 and visits four exotic islands in the Eastern Caribbean.

The itinerary: Vacationers kick off their trip with two nights at sea, spending days basking in the sun and enjoying the many amenities aboard the Pearl, which include a spa, tennis courts and a casino, to name a few.

On day three, the ship arrives in Samana, Dominican Republic. In Samana, passengers can enjoy the scenery of lush mountains toppling over pristine beaches or catch the tale-end of whale watching season.

The Pearl then meanders to St. Thomas, where visitors can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters as well as hiking, biking and bird-watching in the hilltops.

The following day, passengers are treated to a day at the largest and most populous British Virgin Island, Tortola — an ideal place for snorkeling. And, before returning to Miami, the ship sojourns in Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's own, private Bahamian island.

The dollars: All quotes are per person and based on double occupancy. Rates cover accommodations, meals and entertainment on the ship. Fees and taxes, as well as shore excursions, personal expenses, alcoholic beverages, and tips are additional.

The catch: Easter egg baskets not included.
