The deal: Denver is the epicenter of Colorado — home to an emerging art and cultural scene, and an indelible boisterous nightlife that reverberates high in the charcoal-hued Rocky Mountains.

If you’re chomping at the bit to be enraptured with the Mile High City’s attractions and sprawling landscape, but don’t want to pay top dollar for hotel accommodations, you might want to consider shacking up at the boutique, AAA Four-Diamond Hotel Teatro.

In celebration of the highly-anticipated King Tutankhamun exhibition gracing the Denver Art Museum this summer, the premier hotel is advertising the Live Like a Pharaoh Package for just $259/night.

The deal is valid July 1 through December 30 and bundles accommodations with a 60-minute Egyptian Aromatherapy Wrap at Spa Universaire (transportation to the spa provided via Escalade). Also included is an aromatherapy or bubble bath with Teatro’s signature turndown service, complete with grapes and a bottle of Rotari champagne (a $30 value).

About the hotel: Conveniently located in downtown Denver, this eco-friendly property was included on Travel & Leisure’s respected “Top 500 Hotels in the World” list in 2010 and features 110 well-appointed guestrooms outfitted with elegant décor and luxurious marble baths.

Hotel Teatro also contains an Italian eatery, PRIMA, and Restaurant Kevin Taylor, which serves up appetizing French cuisine and has received the prestigious AAA Four-Diamond award for eight years running.

The dollars: Rates are based on double occupancy. Taxes and fees are additional.

The catch: Tickets to the King Tutankhamun exhibit are not included.
