Citi is offering six $5,000 prizes for customer who go paperless.
—How It Works: Customers who enroll for online statements or online letters before July 10 are eligible. Citi card holders can have their names entered twice — by opting for online statements as well as online letters, which includes other correspondence about accounts.
Account holders who don't have a Citi credit card can only opt for paperless statements. There will be six cash prizes of $5,000 each.
—The Catch: Those already enrolled for paperless statements before April 18 aren't eligible.
—A Word of Caution: Don't rush to sign up if you feel your paper statements serve as a good reminder to review your account regularly.
