GOLD, DOLLAR DROP: Gold prices and the dollar fell as investors jumped back into riskier assets like stocks after European leaders created a $1 trillion rescue fund for nations like Greece who are struggling with debt. Other metals gained.

OIL RISES: Light sweet crude for June delivery rose $1.69 to settle at $76.80 a barrel.

GRAINS, BEANS MIXED. Wheat and corn both fell. Soybeans for July delivery rose 1 cent to settle at $9.61 a bushel.
