Why it's a deal: In a recent Kayak search, we found a $1,021 multicity fare (Miami to Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro to Miami) for travel in late August (TAM Airlines). For $428 more, this package covers the airfare, plus six nights' accommodations, breakfast daily, hotel taxes, and fuel surcharges.

More: Optional activities include a guided city tour in Buenos Aires ($12 per person), a tango show and dinner ($79 per person), a jeep tour of Tijuca Forest ($63 per person), and a half-day tour of Sugarloaf Mountain ($68 per person). Upgraded hotel packages are available for an additional $150 or $400 per person.
