Why it's a deal: The cost of this seven-night Sawyer Glacier Cruise package breaks down to about $109 a night and includes shipboard accommodations during a sail along the coast of Alaska, meals, beverages, a shipboard credit of at least $50 per cabin, and all taxes and fees. According to a recent search on Kayak, a similar seven-night Alaska Sawyer Glacier itinerary starts at $609 in September (Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas) — which is about $40 per person more than this American Discount Cruises package from Norwegian Cruise Lines.

More: Optional activities include a rainforest canopy and zip-line expedition ($179 per person) or a helicopter ride ($268 per person) in Juneau; a Mendenhall Glacier and whale-watching excursion ($151 per person); or a Yukon horseback adventure ($179 per person).
