The nurse whose image was immortalized as she kissed a sailor in
Times Square
to celebrate the end of
World War II
has died. According to her family,
Edith Shain
died in
Los Angeles
over the weekend at the age of 91. She leaves behind three sons, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She had a good, long life. It is now 7:20. Back over to
