We’re looking for a unique Marketing Research leader to span our needs from visionary & strategic to detailed & tactical. You will identify and maximize all possible tools such as web analytics, consumer surveys, site performance metrics, syndicated studies, qualitative practices, marketing campaign measurement, industry trends – plus envision and create new methods – to fuel the organization with consumer data and insight that will shape our future. You will evangelize the audience knowledge gained and share it in meaningful ways for the entire msnbc digital network (including msnbc.com, todayshow.com, everyblock.com, breakingnews.com and many more). You must thoroughly understand our business mission, product visions and brand strategies in order to align supporting programs and staff. We expect that you will encourage data-informed self-sufficiency where possible while simultaneously becoming a trusted advisor across multiple departments and divisions. If you have experience in online media, work well under pressure, love the fast-paced news business, are able to translate complex data into actionable information and want to have strong influence and lots of fun, we want to hear from you.
