NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WebCollage, Inc. the leader in online content publishing, today announced the release of the interactive tour builder within the WebCollage™ content publishing application, Content Publisher. The interactive tour builder allows users of WebCollage's Content Publisher patented syndication technology to design, build and publish interactive product demos with existing assets directly onto their retail partner's product pages. Manufacturers can build then syndicate product demonstrations across their retail channel, which improve brand image and messaging that inspire online shoppers to purchase.

The majority of manufacturers selling online do not have a team of graphic designers at their disposal to create interactive product demos because it's expensive and time consuming.   Content Publisher's new interactive tour feature makes it easy for marketing personnel to create interactive tours using existing assets and within the Content Publisher application. Whether using photos of the product, video, screen captures, graphs, or color swatches it is now easier than ever to create an online interactive product tour. The Content Publisher platform lets end users design and then syndicate the entire interactive tour, complete with tabs, buttons and call outs directly to their retail partner's websites. The 'drag and drop' interface makes it easy for even the novice user to build professional looking product tours.

Content Publisher is an intuitive user interface that integrates with WebCollage's patented syndication platform. The SaaS solution gives end users control of what and when to syndicate, to which retailer and how many and when to update, which can all happen with the click of a mouse. Users can publish content in a product mini-site or the industry's most advanced retail marketing tool, Power Product Pages™, depending on retailer.  The interactive tour enhancement is an automatic free upgrade with no interaction required by the user. Existing clients will notice the new feature that's ready to use the next time they log in. Users will be able to update existing, already published content with interactive features and publish the update seamlessly to their retail partners.  Content Publishers scalable technology allows product content to display on all internet browsers as well as the iPad™.

Scott Matthews, CEO of WebCollage, stated, "The industry has been asking for an attractively priced technology solution that allows marketing personnel to create cool interactive content from basic assets and be able to publish their interactive content in real time directly into their retailer's product pages. I am pleased to offer our customer's important enhancements like interactive tour builder to our successful content publishing solutions.  This is the first in a series of real time publishing enhancements WebCollage will introduce to the market in 2010 and 2011."
