(Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that they were awarded a nine-month, $11 million bridge contract to continue their engineering and technical support services with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

Kratos' Technical Services Business, headquartered in Dahlgren, VA, provides expert, hands-on support for weapons development, logistics, engineering, test and analysis, and program management. This award will continue this work for various Navy, Marine Corps, and Joint weapons and munitions programs.

As part of this award, Kratos' expert staff will provide crucial systems engineering support for a variety of weapon systems by providing detailed gun and weapons engineering studies and developing plans and related documentation. This support includes preparing and updating program management plans, acquisition strategies, system engineering plans, operational requirements documents, Interface Control Documents, Systems Specifications, test and evaluation management plans, and test exercise plans/reports for programs such as Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), Electromagnetic (EM) Railgun, Anti-Armor, Deepwater, Precision Strike Package (PSP) now known as Dragon Spear, Battle Management System (BMS), Assault Amphibious Vehicle Upgunned Weapon System, and 76-mm Super Rapid Gun Mount.
