What:

On Friday, September 10th 2010, NASDAQ OMX® U.S. markets will observe a moment of silence at 10:29 a.m., Eastern Time (ET) in honor of September 11th victims and their families.

In addition, NASDAQ OMX will host commemorative opening and closing bell ceremonies in remembrance of the victims and their families that include the following:

  • FDNY Foundation;
  • National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center;
  • Post 911 Foundation;
  • Tuesday's Children

On Saturday, September 11th NASDAQ OMX, will air the World Trade Center 9/11 ceremony on its Tower throughout the day and display a commemorative message.

When:

Friday, September 10th 2010 – commemorative open and closing bell ceremonies and trading moment of silence from 10:29-10:30 a.m.

Saturday, September 11th 2010 beginning at 8:30 a.m. (ET) Commemorative Message and WTC 9/11 ceremony on NASDAQ Tower.
