MARLTON, N.J., Sept. 9, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that a joint venture of Hill, Systra Engineering and Gannett Fleming has received a contract from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide expert professional planning, project management and related services on a call-in basis in connection with the $4.1 billion Capital Program of the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) commuter transit system. The contract has a one-year base period and up to seven one-year option periods.

PATH is a heavy rail rapid transit system, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and serves as a critical link in the New York-New Jersey transportation network. The region ranks as the most mass transit-dependent region in the United States.
