NASDAQ OMX Commemorates September 11th at The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell

What:

NASDAQ OMX has asked the trading community to refrain from trading for a moment of silence between 10:29 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ET (representing the fall of the North Tower) on Friday, September 10th, 2010. During this time, a commemorative message will be broadcast on the NASDAQ MarketSite Tower.

On Saturday, September 11th, NASDAQ OMX will be airing the World Trade Center 9/11 ceremony on its NASDAQ MarketSite Tower in New York City's Times Square throughout the day and display a commemorative message.

Representative organizations will preside over the Opening Bell in recognition of the federal designation of September as National Preparedness month by the Obama Administration.
