The msnbc digital network -- including msnbc.com, todayshow.com, breakingnews.com and more -- seeks a director of product marketing to serve as a leader within the company who devises and executes product market plans. This is not a brand marketing, promotions or PR job. Rather, this role will provide business opportunity analysis for our fast-expanding suite of strategic product initiatives, leading to expanded audience and superior revenue performance. This director will define the product strategy and roadmap, particularly as it relates to market relevance (both consumer and advertiser). S/he will find and use market research extensively and then synthesize, evangelize and execute accordingly. As product develops, the product marketing director will work closely with other brand directors to create and activate optimal go-to-market plans.
