BOSTON, Sept. 28, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DigitalPost Interactive (OTCBB:DGLP), a leader in digital media-sharing and online advertising, announces the development and plan for a phased launch of the Rovion Ad Management Platform (RAMP), a new tool for creating, delivering and tracking video or Flash™ based rich media advertising. You can view the latest corporate presentation, which discusses RAMP by clicking www.dglp.com/ramp.

According to DigitalPost Chief Executive Michael Sawtell, many hours of complex post-production and encoding work are usually required to deliver these specialized, highly effective, rich media advertisements to the web. RAMP will substantially shorten the timeline for rich media ad development and delivery online. Once fully realized, RAMP will enable non-technical users to create, deliver and track virtually any complex, video or Flash™ based web ad through a simple, web-based tool.

Sawtell commented: "We believe that RAMP is innovative and that its capabilities represent the next evolutionary step for online advertising. By eliminating the need for specialized coding, RAMP will ultimately change the way online advertising is created and distributed."

RAMP will be available to designers and advertising personnel with ad agencies, publishers and small-to-mid sized businesses (SMB).

Phase One of the RAMP release will focus on the needs of the SMB market, which can use the system to incorporate spokesperson videos into their own web sites, driving higher user interaction, engagement and results. VirtualSpokespeople.com is scheduled to launch in early October and will be the first RAMP product offering made available to the public.

VirtualSpokespeople.com was inspired by the exceptional results of the Rovion InPerson™ video spokesperson ad unit, which has historically produced an average click-through-rate (CTR) of more than 5% across thousands of client campaigns; compared to the online ad industry's average CTR of less than 1%.
