Gulfstream International Airlines Inaugurates Continental Connection Service From Parkersburg, WV to Cleveland, OH

PARKERSBURG, W.Va., Oct. 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gulfstream International Airlines (AMEX:GIA) today inaugurated service from Parkersburg, West Virginia to the Continental Airlines hub in Cleveland, Ohio. This new route is being flown under Gulfstream's "Continental Connection" affiliation with Continental Airlines. The new service will consist of four round-trips each weekday and four flights over the weekend, which is twice the frequency offered by the previous carrier. As previously announced, the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the Company a new two-year contract as the Essential Air Service provider for Parkersburg, providing direct service to Cleveland.
