(Nasdaq:EPIQ), a leading global provider of technology solutions for the legal profession, announced that it is filing a shelf registration statement today with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a routine replacement of its existing shelf registration statement, which is set to expire on October 11, 2010 after a 3-year term. The company has filed the registration statement for the $67 million that remains unissued from the 2007 shelf registration. Consistent with the prior registration statement, the shelf registration statement may be utilized to offer debt securities, preferred and common stock in order to provide the company with flexibility to respond to future financing opportunities. No offering is currently contemplated by the company.
