Empire Announces Additional Stars to Heat Up "Havana" Feature Film

(Pink Sheets:EFGU)  has confirmed "Machete's" Danny Trejo, Chinese legend Bolo Yeung ("Bloodsport", "Enter the Dragon") and "La Femme Nikita's" Peta Wilson to  join the cast of the action film "Havana Heat" with  Wesley Snipes, Joey Lawrence and Michael Dudikoff.    Latin American celebs Zulay Henao, Lorena Rincon and Raul Julia-Levy also join the international ensemble cast. The Company is currently in negotiations with several other high profile stars to join the cast.

HAVANA HEAT is an action adventure thriller with beautiful women, spectacular locations, exciting music and explosive stunts under a blue Caribbean sky.  The movie tells the story of a Homeland Security agent based in Gitmo who is murdered while undercover in Cuba - a mysterious world that has never been seen like this before on screen.

The film begins shooting January 10, 2010 in Cartagena, Colombia and is produced by Tayrona Entertainment Group, Radar Pictures and Empire Film Group with Wesley Snipes' Maandi Media Entertainment.  Ted Field, James Ordonez, Ken Gord and Ed Elbert produce.   Tayrona's Jose Antonio Ruiz-Diez and Sheila McCarthy serve as Executive Producers.   Bonnie Kanner, Daniel Santefort, Raul Julia-Levy, Dan Meachum and Empire's Jim Townsend are also Executive Producers.   Empire's Dean Hamilton Bornstein will direct and is also producing.   The film will have wide theatrical release in both United States and Latin America via Tayrona Entertainment Group's financing and P&A campaigns for both Domestic and Latin American markets.  Worldwide sales are represented by Nicolas Chartier's Voltage Pictures.
