Rovi has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with COTAS for Passport Guide, marking distribution growth for the company in Latin America.   

Passport Guide boasts an intuitive and graphically-rich interface with advanced search options that help COTAS subscribers quickly and easily find the TV shows that they want. COTAS subscribers will be able to view TV programs in a variety of formats—from listings to detailed information about specific shows—and search for them by typing titles into an on-screen keyboard with their remotes. In addition, Passport Guide offers value-added features such as QuickMenu™, a configurable menu which will enable COTAS subscribers to launch cable TV services with a few clicks of the remote control.
