COLUMBUS, Ind., Oct. 19, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Indiana Bank and Trust Company announces the relocation of its downtown Indianapolis commercial loan office from 10 West Market Street, Suite 1600 to 201 S. Capitol Avenue, Suite 700 in the Pan Am Building. The new location will accommodate the bank's expanding commercial lending presence in the Indianapolis market.

The new facility will be a commercial lending office and, as part of the agreement, IBT will be placing our logo on three sides of the Pan Am building.  All of the employees from the existing office have moved to the new location and will offer a broad array of commercial banking solutions including loans and treasury management to help a business grow and prosper.

John Keach Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Indiana Bank and Trust, commented, "Our new office in downtown Indianapolis will allow us to serve the needs of our growing commercial customer base in the Central Indiana area. As a community bank, we have been making commercial loans in Indianapolis since the 1980s. The relocation will increase our visibility in the Indianapolis market and allow for additional expansion opportunities."

"Our downtown Indianapolis commercial bankers have many years of experience serving the Indianapolis area. As a result, they are quite familiar with the borrowing needs of businesses in central Indiana. These bankers are able to respond quickly to loan requests because decisions are made locally," added Mr. Keach, Jr.

Indiana Bank and Trust Company, a subsidiary of Indiana Community Bancorp (Nasdaq:INCB), is a FDIC insured state chartered commercial bank founded in 1908. The bank offers a wide range of consumer and commercial financial services through 20 offices in Bartholomew, Decatur, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Marion, Ripley, Scott, and Washington Counties.
