SAN DIEGO and COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 25, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:ISYS), announced today at the International Telemetering Conference 2010 (ITC 2010) that RT Logic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, has released the Telemetrix® 500 IRIG Chapter 10 Recorder System (T500RX-CH10). The T500RX-CH10 supports the IRIG 106 Chapter 10 standard utilized extensively on military test ranges around the world. RT Logic's large install base of Telemetrix recorders and signal processing systems are based on Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) products, making them one of the most cost-effective and easily upgradeable solutions on the market.

The IRIG 106 Chapter 10 standard was developed by the Telemetry Group of the Range Commanders Council to enable interoperability between digital flight recorders. Standards-based interoperability gives test range personnel the ability to record data using one manufacturer's system and a different manufacturer's replay system in the data analysis lab.

"The RT Logic T500RX-CH10 satisfies the growing need for open-architecture, cost-effective record and replay solutions," said Derek Jones, T500RX Product Line Product Manager, RT Logic. "While most existing IRIG Chapter 10 recorder products are based on highly proprietary platforms, RT Logic brings the benefits of an industry-standard, server-based architecture to the ranges."

Leveraging industry-standard server platforms, the T500RX-CH10 readily supports industry-standard peripherals such as Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems, Storage Area Network (SAN) Systems, DVD burning robots, commodity disk arrays, and GigE/10-GigE networks. Extremely tight channel to channel and time-data correlation algorithms provide precise, faithful reproduction of recorded data.
