BEIJING, Nov. 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ChinaCache International Holdings Ltd., ("ChinaCache" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:CCIH), the leading provider of Internet content and application delivery services in China, today announced that it has inked a commercial contract with Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSTV), a local TV station in the province of Jiangsu, for content and application delivery services.

Under the terms of the contract, ChinaCache is to help JSTV deliver TV programs on to the Internet by providing an integrated content and application delivery solution. ChinaCache will provide Microsoft Silverlight based live streaming service to JSTV.

The signing of the contract with JSTV marks yet another important customer win for ChinaCache following its first contract in the cable TV industry with Shanghai Media Group (SMG), one of the largest local TV stations in China in the second quarter of this year for a number of content and application delivery services.

"We are excited that we are expanding our business presence in this emerging market by adding new customer to our existing customer base. The network convergence market represents great business opportunity for CDN service providers, and we are committed to working with local TV stations by providing them with the best application and delivery solutions to reach their target audience over the Internet," commented Song Wang, chief executive officer of ChinaCache.
