ATLANTA, Nov. 5, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PRGX Global, Inc. (Nasdaq:PRGX), a business analytics and information services firm, is proud to support the 30th anniversary of the Information Management program at The University of Texas at Austin.

Romil Bahl, president and CEO of PRGX, will speak at the celebration dinner Saturday, Nov. 6, at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin. The dinner will commemorate the late Professor Tim Ruefli and honor several faculty members. Bahl will also be recognized as an honored alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business.

"I believe that the Texas Information Management program is one of the most holistic in the country," said Bahl. "It offers research and deep insights on global sourcing, technology, the management of information, processes, innovation and, of course, problem solving and entrepreneurship. It is this combination that will allow the McCombs School to remain truly differentiated."

The celebration dinner is preceded by a learning symposium on Friday, Nov. 5. The symposium, entitled "Into The Cloud: Winning with Enterprise 2.0," will feature keynote speaker Mark McDonald from Gartner and a number of panel discussions on how emerging technologies are transforming the way businesses operate. Sajid Ghani, managing director of PRGX Business Analytics, will join fellow business leaders from Walmart, Credera and Cook Children's Healthcare System as a panelist on leveraging business intelligence. Ghani will discuss current and future trends in business intelligence and resulting opportunities for enhancing organization-wide performance.

"The trend is for business intelligence to be deployed more broadly than ever, enabling a wider range of end users to adopt and utilize insightful analysis in their day-to-day operations, especially those users closest to an organizations' customers and suppliers," said Ghani.

"PRGX is an avid supporter of The University of Texas at Austin," said Bahl. "Not only have some of our top leaders attended that school, but we are actively recruiting on campus this fall to fill our future talent requirements."
