NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Craig Carlock, President and CEO of The Fresh Market, Inc. (Nasdaq:TFM) will visit NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 and preside over the opening of the NASDAQ Stock Market to celebrate the company's initial public offering on NASDAQ.

Mr. Carlock will be joined by members of the company's management team as well as three additional company employees, store managers Mark Horney and Ovidio Cuervo, and training and development specialist Richard Segee. The three will represent all of the Company's employees in ringing the stock market opening bell.
