SHANGHAI, China, Nov. 15, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RDA Microelectronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:RDA), a fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets radio-frequency and mixed signal chips for cellular, broadcast and connectivity applications, today announced that the underwriters of its public offering have exercised their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1,125,000 of the company's American Depository Shares (ADSs). The option was granted by the company in connection with the public offering by the company and certain selling shareholders of 7,500,000 ADSs, representing 45,000,000 ordinary shares, which priced on November 9, 2010 at a public offering price of $9.00 per ADS. Total net proceeds of the offering, including the over-allotment option, were approximately $68.2 million after estimated expenses and underwriting fees.
