VIVIAN, La., Nov. 15, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avro Energy, Inc. (OTCBB:AVOE) The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that it is excited about the recent trend in oil prices and its benefit to the Company's bottom line.

Further to the Company's news release dated November 10, 2010, the Company has retained an experienced completion engineer for its wells in South Arkansas. This engineer is experienced in the recompletion of wells in this area and is very familiar with the potential oil zones that the Company has been able to identify with its through the pipe well logging technology

The previous through the pipe well logging at one of the wells, the Dildy Weigel Willis Well, identified five new potential intervals of interest. The engineer has advised the Company to perforate one interval at a time so that the Company might identify which is the most productive zone of interest. This data will help the recompletion of other wells that the Company has in South Arkansas.

Avro Energy has contacted the original company that did the through the pipe well logging and has asked them to perforate these zones of interest. Because of the Company's accelerated production plan, Avro Energy has asked this company to perforate the Dildy Weigel Willis Well as soon as possible.

The Company's primary focus is its wells in South Arkansas. The oil that the Company produces in South Arkansas is light sweet crude. The Company continues to negotiate to acquire additional wells in this area.

About the ArkLaTex Oil-Producing Region

The ArkLaTex is a U.S. socio-economic region where Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas intersect. The region is centered on the Shreveport/Bossier metropolitan area in Northwest Louisiana. The region's history is heavily linked with the oil industry. The geology associated with the deposition of sediments from the Mississippi River, in particular, makes this area an abundant source for the oil and gas industries, which leads to the high levels of oil production within the region.
