MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 17, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has collaborated with Educational Testing Service (ETS), Princeton, N.J., to include ETS Formative Assessment Item Banks in Northrop Grumman's Horizon Assessment System, which will offer educators a more comprehensive technology solution for student evaluation.

Horizon is currently being used in Fairfax County, Va., Public Schools; Shenandoah County Public Schools in Woodstock, Va.; Prince William Public Schools in Manassas, Va.; Deer Valley Unified School District in Phoenix, Ariz.; Ascension Parish School Board in Donaldsonville, La.; and the New York City Department of Education School of One program.
