INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 24, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL), a global leader in providing supply chain solutions to the wireless industry, today announced that Alex Paskoff has been named to the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America, effective immediately.

In this role, Mr. Paskoff will be responsible for Brightpoint North America's commercial activities across all lines of business. He and his team will contribute toward developing Brightpoint's long-term sales and marketing strategy for growth with carrier, dealer, enterprise, OEM, and retail partners.

Mr. Paskoff has been working with Brightpoint since July 2000 and has served in multiple senior management roles for Brightpoint's domestic and international businesses. In his new role as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, he will report directly to J. Mark Howell, President, Brightpoint Americas.
