COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. and COLUMBIA, Md., Dec. 2, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced today that Ernie Dickens, Vice President and General Manager of Integral Systems Service Solutions (IS3) will take part in a panel discussion at the 2010 DoD Commercial SATCOM Users' Workshop, which will be held December 6-8, 2010 in Crystal City, Va. Dickens will discuss the significant mission assurance benefits of implementing a persistent and proactive program for the monitoring, detection and geolocation of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) on commercial communications satellites. IS3 has recently implemented such a program as a service for its United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) customer.
SIA and USSTRATCOM co-sponsor the DoD SATCOM Users Workshop, which explores both the Department of Defense's current requirements for satellite connectivity and the latest industry and technology trends to ensure effective communications for current and future military mission requirements.
