(OTCBB:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendant™, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant, announced today the Company has formed a new strategic partnership with Akron, Ohio, based Medical Resources Limited, a primary vendor to the Ohio-based Veteran's Administration (VA).
Medical Alarm Concepts™ offers a unique, patented medical emergency alarm system that is different from many of the other personal emergency response (PERS) systems on the market today. MDHI's MediPendant™ product offers several revolutionary and highly desirable features, including the ability to speak and listen to the operator directly through the pendant. The MediPendant™ has an extended range of up to 600+ feet from the base station enabling the user to move virtually anywhere in or around their home. The call center is staffed with EMT-certified operators who are guaranteed to stay on the line with the user until help arrives. MediPendant's™ advanced technology also allows for three-way calling between the operator, the user, and the dispatched first responder. These unique features are seldom seen in other PERS products.
