City National Bank Hires Doug Stewart in San Jose as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Banking Services

SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 7, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that it has hired Doug Stewart as a senior vice president and manager for its Commercial Banking Services (CBS) group in the South Bay/San Jose area. Stewart is a well-known banking professional who has worked in the financial services industry in San Jose for more than 20 years.

In his new capacity, Stewart will be responsible for developing new client relationships with mid-sized companies in the South Bay and San Jose area and matching their financial needs with solutions from City National.

Stewart will report to Arlene Gould, regional commercial banking manager for Northern California at City National Bank.

Stewart was formerly a first vice president and alternate group manager of Comerica Bank in San Jose for more than 10 years. Prior to joining Comerica, Stewart served as a vice president for Bank of the West and a sales representative for SME Capital Management in Redwood City.
