IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 29, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NDR Energy Group, a natural an alternative energy company, and subsidiary of Universal Bioenergy Inc., (Pink Sheets:UBRG), has signed an agreement to supply natural gas to Southern California Gas Company, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE).

Southern California Gas Company is the nation's largest natural gas distribution utility, with 20.7 million customers. Sempra Energy, its parent company, reported revenues of $8.1 billion, including  $3.8 billion from natural gas sales and transportation in 2009, in its annual report.

NDR Energy's CEO, Gina Roy, states, "We're thrilled about this opportunity to partner with Southern California Gas Company. It continues to show the great progress we're making in association with Universal. Rickey Hart, our Vice president of Business Development, did a great job and spearheaded the closing of this major transaction for gas delivery to them for December. The agreement limits us from disclosing the details, however this Southern California Gas transaction will generate millions of dollars in revenues for us in the month of December. With this agreement, NDR Energy will deliver a record amount of gas to Southern California Gas, for a company of our size, and assisting them to provide natural gas to their 20.7 million customers in their service area."
