Hearst Publication's Electronics Products Magazine presented the Product of the Year award to Microsemi Corporation (Nasdaq:MSCC), in recognition of SmartFusion. Presented at the company's headquarters in Irvine, California, the award was personally presented to Jim Peterson, Microsemi CEO and John East, Actel's former CEO, by Bill Barron, vice president and publisher of Electronics Products. Actel is now known as Microsemi's SoC (System-on-Chip) Products Group.
