ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Science and engineering firm Integral Consulting Inc. has appointed Judi Durda a Vice President of the company and Damian Preziosi a Principal. Both were recognized for their contributions to company performance as well as for outstanding technical service to clients in the areas of toxicology, risk assessment, and ecological restoration. The firm won a number of new projects with chemical, industrial manufacturing, mining, and municipal clients and law firms in 2010 and has continued its strong growth, establishing offices in Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts.

A company Principal since 2003, Ms. Durda serves as Eastern Regional Director for offices in Annapolis and Berlin, Maryland; Boston, Massachusetts; and Portland, Maine. She is a certified senior ecologist and a toxicologist with more than 20 years of experience in the health and environmental science fields. Known for her strategic and state-of-the-science approaches to human health and ecological risk assessment, Ms. Durda and her Integral team have saved clients millions of dollars by applying her strategies to difficult environmental cleanup problems.
Mr. Preziosi is an environmental scientist and certified senior ecologist with nearly 20 years of experience in evaluating potential risks associated with exposures to physical, chemical, and biological hazards. Mr. Preziosi has extensive experience in the assessment, communication, and management of risk. His expertise includes strategic development of tailored risk assessments, environmental fate and transport modeling, environmental forensics, ecological modeling, and statistics. Mr. Preziosi currently serves as lead for Integral's Ecology Group.
