Northrop Grumman Wins U.S. Navy C4I Installation Support Contract for East and West Coast Ships and Facilities

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Jan. 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A team led by Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been selected by the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to compete for task orders to provide shipboard, submarine and shore-based Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) global installation support.

Northrop Grumman subsidiary AMSEC LLC was awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), multiple-award contract with a ceiling of $794 million. In addition, the contract includes an option that, if exercised, would increase the ceiling value to approximately $1.3 billion.

AMSEC's portion of the work will be performed in Charleston, S.C.; Norfolk/Tidewater Area, Va.; Mayport, Fla.; San Diego; and in other continental United States and worldwide areas. The work is expected to be completed by January 2016.
