What:

Steppingstone Scholars, Inc., a Philadelphia based non-profit organization, will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square.

Steppingstone Scholars, Inc. has been awarded a $50,000 first time grant from the NASDAQ OMX Education Foundation to support its efforts to develop and implement programs that prepare academically underserved schoolchildren for educational opportunities that lead to college.

In honor of the occasion, Senator Constance H. Williams, a member of the board of directors of Steppingstone Scholars, Inc., will ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell. She will be joined by Michael Danziger, Founder of The Steppingstone Foundation in Boston and Nina Weisbord, President of Steppingstone Scholars. Scholars from Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, PA in will be in attendance, as well as teachers, members of the Steppingstone board of directors and staff.
