What:
Mary Ann McLaughlin, president of the American Heart Association New York City Board of Directors, and representatives from its Go Red For Women movement, will visit NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to raise awareness for National Wear Red Day.
Friday, February 4th has been designated as National Wear Red Day to raise awareness of heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women. This year, Go Red For Women is asking women nationwide to Make It Their Mission to fight heart disease by wearing red.
In honor of the occasion, Mary Ann McLaughlin will preside over the NASDAQ opening bell in anticipation of National Wear Red Day. She will be joined by Go Red For Women volunteers.
