MARLTON, N.J. and CAIRO, Egypt, Feb. 11, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that it has received a contract from the National Cancer Institute Foundation (a not-for-profit organization registered in the Ministry of Social Solidarity with reference no. 587 for the year 2010) to provide project management services during the design and construction of a new National Cancer Institute to be located at 6th of October City in Cairo, Egypt. The four-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $3.6 million.

The new National Cancer Institute will be a research center with many international affiliations and will be recognized as a well-established beacon of knowledge in the Middle East. The new National Cancer Institute will include a 360-bed hospital as well as a hospice and a palliative care center. It will also include separate buildings for doctors' and nurses' housing and a guest house. The building's design will be targeted at LEED Gold certification.
