CLEARWATER, Fla., Feb. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD), a leading distributor of IT products, today announced it will host an Investor Day in New York City at the NASDAQ MarketSite on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET and conclude at 12:00 p.m., followed by a luncheon.

Members of Tech Data's executive management team will review the company's strategy, highlight its performance and outline its financial goals. Presenters will include: Robert M. Dutkowsky, chief executive officer; Jeffery P. Howells, executive vice president and chief financial officer; Néstor Cano, president, Europe; Murray Wright, president, the Americas; and John Tonnison, executive vice president and chief information officer.
