(OTCBB:DPDM) ("Dolphin Digital Media" or the "Company") (), a creator of secure social networking websites for children utilizing groundbreaking fingerprint identification technology, is proud to announce its entry into the European market by licensing its core product, Dolphin Secure, in Germany. Philip von Alvensleben, a 20-year veteran of the media space within Germany and the U.S., has formed Dolphin Media Germany and recruited a team of top-level marketing and technology experts to localize, promote, distribute and support Dolphin Secure within Europe, beginning with the German market.
Dolphin Secure is an Internet safety product that offers parental controls to monitor and guide a child's online experience by utilizing state-of-the-art fingerprint identification technology. As in the United States, Dolphin Media Germany will offer children the ability to surf the Internet through pre-approved websites that can be customized by parents on a per-child basis. Parents will also be able to select who their child can chat with online, the signature tool of Dolphin Secure that serves to greatly curb the twin threats of cyber-bullying and sexual predators.
Dolphin Media Germany plans to launch Dolphin Secure in Berlin this week. Under the licensing agreement, Dolphin Digital Media will receive a royalty from all customer licenses and sales. In turn, Dolphin Media Germany has retained the German-language rights to Dolphin Secure, as well as a right of first negotiation to launch the product in other European territories.
