NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 17, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bulow BioTech Prosthetics, a group of national destination clinics focused on providing the highest level of personalized care and the most advanced technology, is proud to announce the opening of its first facility outside the Tennessee region.

Leading the new Columbia, South Carolina office is certified prosthetist, Bobby Latham. Bobby is a graduate of Clemson University with a postgraduate certificate in prosthetics from California State University.

"The key to expanding the Bulow brand is finding the right clinicians.  It took us two years to find Bobby," says Bulow Founder and CEO Matthew Bulow.  "Our patients are happy to travel across the country to a Bulow clinic as long as we can deliver on our promise to provide unparalleled patient care coupled with cutting-edge technology."

Bulow currently operates four clinics that focus entirely on prosthetics, and plans to open several additional locations across the country in the coming months.  The company is actively looking for prosthetists who are among the best in their field who have a passion for prosthetic only patient care.

"I couldn't be more excited about this next step in my career," says Latham.  "Matt and his team offer the expertise and infrastructure needed to run a successful clinic as well as the talent for patient care and technological advancement that will keep me continually growing in my profession."

Bulow is himself an amputee, cancer survivor, diabetic, and world record setting athlete.  He is uniquely qualified to guide his clinicians to providing the highest level of customer service, eliminating unnecessary prosthetic pain, and helping patients reach their highest level of mobility.  "Our goal is to get our patients back to where they want to be.  That could mean running a marathon, mowing the lawn, or walking to get the mail.  Our clinicians are dedicated to deliver the right fitting, the right technology, and the right support to make it happen," added Bulow.
