TODAY to simultaneously air two live broadcasts

In an unprecedented event, TODAY will simultaneously broadcast two separate and distinct shows – one online and one on broadcast television. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb will host a one-time-only, live web show that will air exclusively on TODAY.com, while Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira host the traditional TV broadcast. The special live web show kicks off the launch campaign to introduce TODAY.com, the new online destination for TODAY. The TODAY.com Show will be streamed live online from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (EST) on March 8, 2011.

The TODAY.com Show will include web-only stories created specifically for the online audience. Viewers will get a unique peek into life behind the lens and gain access to the TODAY family, experts and celebrity guests. The TODAY.com Show will feature live interviews with special guests. Throughout the television broadcast, Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira will encourage viewers to watch the live online show, ask questions of the special guest line up and explore the new web site.

Viewers can watch the live stream at TODAY.com. They can join in the fun by posting questions and feedback on our Facebook wall () and by using the hashtag #TODAY on Twitter.
