PRESCOTT, Ariz., March 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Western Sierra Mining Corp., (Pink Sheets:WSRA) said today that it will expand its current exploration programs during the second and third quarters of 2011 to include potential mineral properties in the State of Nevada.

In addition to pure exploration, the Company is currently bidding several contract mining proposals and hopes to be able to announce the positive outcome of those negotiations in the near future.
