NEW YORK, March 25, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Winning Brands Corporation www.WinningBrands.com (Pink Sheets:WNBD) (Frankfurt:WMU), manufacturer of Winning Colours 1000+ Stain Remover, World's Most Versatile Cleaning Solution™, www.WinningColours.com announces its first commercial order from the Republic of Ghana, following local market testing in that country's capital, Accra, during 2010. Winning Brands' importer in Ghana, Borblohco Ventures, will distribute Winning Colours 1000+ to stores and industry in Accra as the starting point for the brand's presence in that country. The first shipment is being bottled and labelled now and will depart from New York soon.

Spokesperson for the new distributorship in Ghana, Mr. A. Kwabena, explains the view from Ghana: "We of Borblohco Ventures are experienced in local cleaning services. We asked for samples and began using Winning Colours 1000+ Stain Remover ourselves after hearing about it from friends in South Africa. Winning Colours 1000+ has proved very efficient and effective. Comparatively, it is affordable and could go a long way to improve our cleaning options in Ghana. We included the Ministry of Health in testing, with samples being used by health inspectors to clean facilities and uniforms. They, too, were impressed with its usefulness. We are confident that Winning Colours 1000+ Stain Remover will be popular because of its performance and are delighted to act as Winning Brands' distributor in Ghana."

This is the second African nation to receive Winning Colours 1000+ Stain Remover – the first was South Africa, where the product is being well received in the pilot stores where sales began. Winning Brands' International Sales Manager, Daniela Relja, explains that emerging relationships can be a glimpse into the future. The initial shipments to Africa show that Winning Colours 1000+ can gain product fans in any market. Growing from Mr. Kwabena's very first bottle, to the subsequent samples he put to use, and now to the first order for several thousand bottles, this is the way things move forward. We truly appreciate the enthusiasm of our new associates and customers in Ghana."
