LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Former Sony Pictures Entertainment vice president Libby Gill will discuss ways to "maximize your leadership DNA" at a meeting of the Network of Executive Women's Southern California region, Wednesday, May 18 in Costa Mesa. The Network is the consumer products and retail industry's largest diversity organization.

The event, themed "Igniting Bold Leadership," will be held from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, in Costa Mesa. The afternoon event will include networking, refreshments and a silent auction.

Gill is an internationally known executive coach, brand strategist and best-selling author of You Unstuck: Mastering the New Rules of Risk-taking in Work and Life. Her "clarify, simplify and execute" process help individuals get "unstuck" and inspires individuals and organizations to build high-passion, high-performance teams and increase employee engagement, organizers said.

Sue Klug, president of Albertsons Southern California Division and Mike Servold, regional vice president of Store Operations of Ralphs will serve as co-emcees of the event.
