After Record Growth Over the Last Several Years, Oregon-Based Energy Information Company Continues to Expand Leadership Team to Prepare for the Future

HILLSBORO, Ore., April 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Obvius Holdings LLC, a leader in energy information and submetering systems announced today that Nathan Nilles, the company's vice president of sales and marketing has been promoted to president of the company. With Obvius since 2008, Nilles will now be responsible for the direction of all corporate departments and ensuring the overall health of the company.

"Obvius has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years as recognition of our energy information products has spread globally," said Jim Lewis, chief executive officer of Obvius. "Nathan has played a critical role in building the sales and marketing team at Obvius, as well as developing partnerships with world-class providers of complementary products. Using his new role to apply his demonstrated leadership skills and vision for the company will be a vital component in our success moving forward."

Obvius attributes much of its growth and success to its proven ability to attract top talent from outside the company and to develop and promote high level performers from within Obvius. Investment in  green technology and energy management solutions is on the rise and this trend has also contributed to Obvius' accelerated growth. Obvius has doubled in size over the last two years and is on pace to double again in 2011.

Prior to joining Obvius, Nilles spent more than five years managing national accounts for another area company specializing in electronics manufacturing of energy and environmental sensors. He holds a business degree from Washington State University College of Business and Economics.
