The former CEO of LimeWire, Searle is both a technologist and entrepreneur with 15 years experience leading traditional media, entertainment and information companies to leverage new technologies, platforms and business models. As CEO of LimeWire, Searle led and rebuilt the most popular file-sharing application in the world – with a global footprint of more than 200 million users from every country.

Over his career, Searle spearheaded the conceptualization, development, launch and management of breakthrough media and entertainment products, services, and technologies. Some of his accomplishments include serving as CEO of social media start-up, eVokeTV, and founding Mediaguide, an advanced media monitoring system. Searle also co-founded ConneXus, creating a revolutionary interactive service that empowered consumers to identify and purchase broadcast music using their mobile phones.
